This interesting carving, made from ironwood, is from a small Bahau villge above the rapids on the Makakam river of Kalimantan, Indonesia. David saw it lying next to a hut. A villager had found it in the jungle near an old burial ground along the river. Its aso and dragon spirits are protective. 28" x 6.5" x 3.5"
